Edit 12/10/2014: deviantArt has made a lot of changes since this tutorial was first made so I finally went back and corrected it. You do NOT have to be a premium member to have stamps. Just follow the steps in the tutorial.
I'm not sure if someone has made this before. They probably have and have done a better job.
BUT I get this question quite often so I've made this to link people to when they ask. I feel like I can show better than tell.

for some reason, when i put the thumb code of a stamp into the description of a deviation, it just shows the code, and not the stamp itself. any help?Β

but what if the stamp appears behind the custom box background (is not visible meanwhile the thumb is pasted)?

Hey! You need to paste < div class="gr-box gr-genericbox" > (without spaces) before pasting the stamps :3

Oh and don't forget the < /div> at the end! And to make stamps appear on the center, you have to put them between this code < div align="center" > < /div >

That is up to the individual stamp maker. Check the description on their stamp for any rules or pricing.

Usually no but it varies from person to person. Make sure to check the description on the stamp for more info.
