Couldn't River just use her Vortex Manipulator to go back, pick them up, and bring them back? Or couldn't they have just gone to New Jersey 1938 and let the Doctor pick them up? If they were worried about completing a circular paradox, all they had to do was when Amy and Rory died, take them and burry them in that spot with the same YouTube.

He keeps killing people... the Ponds for instance and Sherlock is just painful and... I'm blaming him if my parents don't watch passed series 4 and David's specials.

But he is a good writer. And at least he killed them off in kind ways. RTD had people dry out and explode, fall into a nuclear generator, burn to death...all of those ways are much more gursome. Plus, at least he has characters develop (except Clara, who is good but kind of static) The only time RTD did any real development of character, he undid it all in the end (with Donna). Moffat even had the doctor develop a lot as a character and learn to move on while with the tenth doctor, he was brooding and pining over rose through out his series (not often, but still it was very much a subject that never got resolved).

True... maybe I favor RTD because he wrote the Nineth Doctor and he's my first and favorite.... I detested Ten for his first few episodes... till I met Sarah Jane and then it was okay. Ten's #4 on my favorite Doctor list.

Sarah Jane is awesome. RTD is a great writer, but I feel that Moffat understands how people react to things better.
