Just make a movie clip looping, -as you have done, then tell the actionscript " stop
that should be it

I liked your trace so much. The animation look like olds videogame charachters and a disney movie that one where the animals get away from the zoo.
Congratulations.

If you have your play button in one scene and the animation in another scene, your button can be go to and play scene 2, and at the end of scene 2 you could have the same actionscript repeated on the last frame of the animation. If you have your tiger walking in a movie clip, you can just have your button's actionscript be go to and stop on the frame or scene you have the movie clip in.
Also, the feet appear to be moving in a jumbled mess, and it's rather distracting. When walking, the fore left leg and the rear right leg should move together, and the fore right leg and the rear left leg should move together. This is different, however, when the animal is running. When the foreleg is completely forward, the hind leg is completely back. When the foreleg is completely back, the hind leg is completely forward.
Otherwise, the tiger is really cute, and I like how his head moves as he walks.

The way his front left paw (closest to us) moves is a lot more noticeable than the rest. Compare the two paws in the foreground-his left front and back paws. The back one looks like a single rectangle unless you look closely. I also agree with the tail. If you work on that, it'll move more fluidly. He's very cute, nice shading technique. Maybe add a few blinks?
