Before the beginning, there was the void. a single, immense entity. lifeless, formless, and as cold and unyielding as the empty space it occupied.

trillions of years passed, void, reveling in its singularity.
but a part of it grew curious. intrigued.

"what if other things existed...?"

void made every effort to smother these thoughts. but he only succeeded in bottling them up.

eventually the energy of these racing thoughts formed an entirely different being altogether. this new form split itself from void, who immediately tried to kill it.

but this new being matched void in its power, and a cataclysmic battle took place in the emptiness of the black abyss.

a cataclysmic battle ensued, each fighting to destroy the other. but the new entity was fragile, and eventually its strength began to wane.

void, finally gaining the upper hand, moved in for the kill, but the new being, in a desperate attempt to live, released an unfathomable amount of raw energy, an event that all sentient races refer to as the big bang. this incomprehensible amount of raw energy created billions of dimensions, trillions of universes, and trillions upon trillions of life forms that would eventually inhabit these dimensions.

the massive burst of energy blinded void, and this new being took this opportunity to tear void into billions of pieces, scattering his essence across every dimension in existence.

however, unbeknownst to the being, known as the seer, the void began to claw its way back into existence. piece by piece, the void sewed itself back together using the threads of universal energy absorbed from dimensions it itself had collapsed. eventually, though not whole, the void managed to absorb the power from several powerful entities that once roamed the multiverse.

having returned anew with an immense power in tow, the void now seeks its eternal enemy, the being known as the seer. swearing vengeance, the void has vowed to capture and destroy the seer, returning the multiverse into the black of nonexistence.
