This took me longer to get finished than I would have liked, but school is being mean to my draw-for-fun time at the moment. I also found out I don't know how to draw birds.Possum belongs to .

No no. I DON'T know how to draw birds. At least not completely from my head. I googled about a dosen eagle references to draw this.

Traditional color I won't be too much help with at the moment. I'm going to take a painting class either this summer or next fall, but for the time being, I'm probably as clueless as you as far as paints go.

You're very much welcome! It was fun to draw, and the birds presented me with an interesting challenge 
I remember so many years back when I had characters that I wished very talented people would draw. No one ever did. Actually, I was too chicken to ask, but hey. I learned how to draw them myself instead. I figure I should share my skill where I can.

i just can't get over this piece. i would love to frame it and put it on my wall, shrink it and carry it with me wherever i go, etc etc etc. i love it. love love love. i should stop talking now because i really don't have anything more constructive to say, but it's...gah!

that's a lovely piece. i love the soft, muted colors and the shading is beautiful. it's not only attractive but it tells a story and the birds look just fine...they seem intentionally stylized to make the piece seem more whimsical. simply breathtaking.

Thank you. I'm glad the shading worked out well. Coloring in night-time scenes can be tricky. Oh, and my comment on not knowing how to draw birds wasn't meant to imply that I hate the birds in this peice. Rather that they were harder to draw than the rest and so they took a really, really, incredibly freaking long time.
