I'm going to sound like broken record, but that looks alot like Dr. Manhattan, though I love Manhattan so there is nothing wrong with that. I also like Atoms design better in general. Very good work

When I heard "Godlike powers" with Captain Atom I was like "Oh goddamnit they're turning him into Dr. Manhatten!" But then I remember "Wait Captain Atom came first.....negative comment retort" Anyway I am interested in this new Captain atom outside of his new goofy hairdo. Great cover though

Man! This and Mister Terrific's covers were my favorites of the DC reboot wave.
Also, with Flashpoint and the hairdo of energy he's got going on, makes me wonder about Waverider, another quantum being of energy.

Good call! Dr. Manhattan was actually inspired by Captain Atom! DC purchased characters from Charlton Comics, and those characters became the inspiration for the WATCHMEN characters.
