Description I really just wanted to practice some modeling... but to be honest, when I finished it I couldn't resist to add some materials and give it a render so see how it looked

Took about a week to complete (I had to lear Inventor along the way, so it was a bit slow at first ).

Anyway, hope you like it. Feel free to comment

Inventor, 3D Max, Maxwell Render & Photoshop.

How many parts does this consist of? I'm sure this rivals my rifle design by 100+ parts lol Nice work. Also, have you considered using SolidWorks? Inventor is basically a copy of that software, but I find SW to be much less tedious and more efficient. Give it a try once, can't hurt

Vaya potencia que tiene este dibujo.
PodrΓa hablar de la ensalada infernal de detalles que tiene esto, pero encima has elegido unos colores y unos materiales que quedan de vicio.
Lo de la DD no es ninguna exageraciΓ³n

I see in the rear of it a drive casing of some sort closing it off. Where do the exhaust gases go?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Deoradhain In reply to RedPandaRolo [2010-09-06 01:56:06 +0000 UTC]

Looks like a Honeywell T55 to me, the exhaust gases escape through the back of it (near the large fan), and it pulls air in through ducts near the front of the output shaft gear box. You can actually make out one of the cut away ducts right under the output shafts gear box to be exact.
