As they used to say in an English TV advertisement "I can't tell it's not butter". Astonishing work.

Incidentally - which ivy generator?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArthurBlue In reply to struckdumb [2011-06-05 18:03:31 +0000 UTC]

Is there more than one? I would be interested to know that. The only one I know is the one that can be easily found in google: [link]

struckdumb In reply to ArthurBlue [2011-06-06 21:27:25 +0000 UTC]

Wow - does that work in Vue?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArthurBlue In reply to struckdumb [2011-06-07 06:14:35 +0000 UTC]

Not directly. I export my objects into the ivy generator, generate the ivy there and then I export the result back to Vue, where I have to manually adjust the ivy to its final position.
It would be easier if I had Vue xStream and 3DS Max. There's a plugin of ivy generator for 3DS max and a plugin of Vue for 3DS Max. That way I could generate the ivy directly in the Vue scene. Well, theoretically at least it should work, I never tried and I don't know of anyone who has.
