These are characters I feel deserve better depending on the circumstances, whether it be appearances in the series they're from, or their misfortune.

10. Poochie from The Simpsons
I'm starting off with my favourite character from Itchy and Scratchy, one who got so much unfair contempt for no reason.

9. Donald Duck
This duck is always suffering bad luck, he just can't help but get angry over anything.

8. Toadsworth from Mario
This Toad hasn't even been in a game since everything went to the Wii. Whatever happened to this character?

7. Conker from Diddy Kong Racing
The fact that Conker was going to get his own family game called "12 Tales Conker", until critics complained it was too cute and similar to Banjo-Kazooie, so Rare had to change it to a game for teenagers and adults called Conker's Bad Fur Day. And Conker hasn't even had a game since Microsoft ruined him further in Young Conker.

Even if his chances for Smash Bros are slim to nil, I do kind of hope he gets in. If Banjo and Kazooie can get in despite being owned by Microsoft, why not Conker? Also, a lot of M-rated characters got into Smash.

6. Wile E. Coyote from Looney Tunes
Coyote is always trying and failing to get the Road Runner, with all his gadgets backfiring on him. It all makes me feel sorry for him.

5. Mister Grumpy, Mister Fussy, and Mister Bump from The Mister Men Show
These three are so impossible to not feel sorry for.

Mister Grumpy is always suffering bad luck, especially when Mister Stubborn didn't take his advice at a bowling alley or turn on the heater during a game of cards, one one occasion, Mister Nosey and Mister Small broke into his house to eat his food, and the occasion where Mister Stubborn drove away from the Dillydale Pool. Let's not forget the time Miss Helpful giving him a new phone attracted many uninvited visitors.

Mister Fussy suffers bad luck too. Especially when Mister Noisy got him kicked out of the library for a hypocritical reason and the cinema for something that wasn't even his fault to begin with. There was also the time Mister Messy invited the mascot of Mister Men, Mister Nosey, Mister Small, Mister Scatterbrain, and Mister Stubborn in his car at a drive in theatre. Not to mention, the time Mister Rude got him kicked out of a fancy restaurant and the fact Miss Helpful reserved a table for Mister Bump despite that Mister Bump was already there at a different table.

Mister Bump is always having accidents. And nobody seems to care about his misfortunes.

4. Death from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Poor Death, having to suffer the misfortunes of being the best friend of Billy and Mandy forever. I wish Billy and Mandy could cut Death some slack every once in a while.

3. The cast of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi
These characters are barely acknowledged by Cartoon Network nowadays.... except maybe their 20th anniversary poster and Yumi's cameo in O.K. Knock Out. It's like Cartoon Network are pretending this show never existed.

2. Boco, Arthur, Fergus, Murdoch, Molly, and Neville from Thomas the Tank Engine
Boco not returning is the reason I always say he's the only Season 2 introduced character yet to get a CGi render. (I always exclude the Spiteful Brake Van because he's dead) Boco has potential to be one of the best characters, especially due to his class's history.

Arthur's potential is just as high as Boco's if not higher. He can help with The Flying Kipper if Henry's ill or busy with other work.

Fergus hates the fact nobody listens to him whenever he says "Do it right", which went to Diesel's cooling system to trick him into thinking he has to go and work at the Smelters Yard. And he never returned because his model was damaged beyond repair.

Murdoch just wants some peace and quiet while doing his work.

Molly was belittled by Emily because she had empty trucks, and she is quite shy.

Neville was picked on by Arry and Bert, all because he's a steam engine, leading to the engines spreading rumours about him.

1. Dixie, Tiny, Lanky, and Chunky from Donkey Kong
If you think Diddy Kong has had it the worst, well, think of these simians.

Dixie hasn't been in any game since Tropical Freeze. Tiny hasn't been in a game since Mario Super Sluggers. Lanky hasn't been seen since Donkey Kong Jet Race. Chunky has barely been seen since Donkey Kong 64.
