Seriously. Not every live action movie that's based on a video game is bad. It's been proven with the Detective Pikachu movie.I will admit, when I heard that the Detective Pikachu movie was going to be made, I was kind of expecting every Pokémon in the movie to look exactly like their game counterparts, but the animators took a different turn with the Pokémon designs. Instead of making them look exactly like their game counterparts, they made them look how they would look if they were real.
And for those of you who are still bitching about Sonic's design in his upcoming movie, WAIT UNTIL THE MOVIE IS RELEASED BEFORE JUDGING!!! Besides, Sonic's design in his upcoming movie is Paramount's own interpretation of how Sonic would look if he were real.

For me, I actually don’t find the look of most video game based movies bad. Don’t understand why they say this is the only good video game movie ever made. They are quite unaware of Sonic The Hedgehog and Warcraft been quite good ones aswell.

Detective Pikachu is harmless and fine. I'm very excited for Sonic.
