between the other two and feint, who i won't be reposting for a while bc i literally just put it up on my main account, four of my most major sonic ocs so i think that's enuff for one day

he predates the archie sonic character named relic by a year and a half btw and i have receipts so i don't wanna hear it

out-of-character, he's basically the "other half" of zero in that he's one of two offshoots of my very very first, 19-year-old oc. he's more of a 'classic' sonic character that's more like i tend to make, where a lot of effort is put into making him in-universe and placing him in canon style, where Zero is a little more self-indulgent.

though i don't have a lot to write about him, he's easily the character i use the most aside from glitch, lol

ability notes
using the fire ring, relic is able to produce fire shields functionally at will. these surround him in a shield of protective flame and allow him to surge forward at high speed.
they break under direct force, but can absorb weak special attacks, and are especially effective at absorbing fire.
they are not waterproof, and cannot be created if the fire ring is wet.

also of extremely important note is the fact that relic himself is not fireproof.

personality
easygoing, adventurous, and headstrong. there's no word he hates more than 'impossible', except possibly 'really really apocalyptically stupid idea'; either way, he responds to both with a resounding "WATCH ME". he barrels forward and makes mistakes without fear, but the good news is that he does tend to learn from his mistakes. here for a good time, not necessarily a long time.

backstory
a regular guy who discovered an ancient relic he probably shouldn't have stolen from the mystic ruins but that's neither here nor there (nobody was using it!), and set himself on fire NUMEROUS times in the process of learning how to use it.
