Description
This is a vehicle from a story I'm writing, but since I made it in Bryce, I'm gonna use it in my Island Fortress animation!
(and cuz I'm lazy and don't wanna make any more today)

Can you help me out a bit?
I want to create pictures like this on my computer, but have no way of downloading anything without it being a compressd file. Also all I want is a small application with a fe basic tools so that I can create images like this one.
Did you spend alot of money on a program?
I simply want a free one with a few basic tools to make designs like this. Can you help me out?

Um... I don't know how much help I can be... If you're only working with dial-up (which it sounds like you are), you might want to consider upgrading, or finding a friend who has DSL or Cable internet. This program was about $100 -- not too expensive, as far as most 3D progs go. A good free program with touch up tools is Jasc PaintPro (I think that's the name) -- it's a Photoshop clone (granted, a slightly droopy-eyed, Down's Syndrome one, but a clone nonetheless)

I'm on broadband. The problem is my "administrative privalidges" so I need a very basic program that i don't need "administrative privalidges" to install it. Also I'm only going to be using it as a time killer really and to sketch up some sort of rough outline of my ideas. I've already tried installing googleskecth or whatever it's called.

Okay, then I'd suggest first off: Buy your own computer. And then take the rest of my advice. If you're really serious about art, you're not going to want to try and use your work computer for everything -- or anything for that matter.

I like this!!! It is very friendly and cute looking though for a fighter, but ya know what that reminds me of? Lilo and Stitch! Ya know how in that movie there are no sharp corners or edges? (even Stitch's teeth are rounded! ^.^) It looks like the spaceships from there! I like it.

Thanks Skye! Yeah, I was going for the whole no-rounded-edges thing (though I admit Lilo & Stitch didn't even cross my mind the whole time). I actually drew up a few other variants -- some with edges, others without -- but this was the easiest (and therefore the first) one to make!
