*laughs* All militarized? I may be in uniform in that picture, my dear girl -- but I am far from "militarized!" I don't like the military -- if you haven't been able to tell from my (approaching insubordinate) journals and disgruntled comments! Eh... *sighs* I'm trying to be a more positive person. The military's sapped most of whatever innocence I may have once had. It has (ironically) stripped a lot of my former self away, while simultaneously giving me a new sense of self... weird, huh? I can't walk into anywhere back home without being stared at (as if the third arm growing from my back was really that strange! The nerve of some people!) Nah... I think it's just that I have a totally different demeanour than everyone else. Young, but old at the same time. Very old... Oh well, anyway, thanks for (finally!) noticing the details!

Didn't mean it in a bad way lol, just an interesting way of saying I didn't know you were in the military.

I'm sorry that you've had to do it and you don't like it though. And as for changing you, if you don't like the change I'm sorry. When friends join the military thats what worries me, that it'll change them and I won't understand them anymore. Fortunately that didn't happened with my one friend who went to Iraq.

I know you didn't mean it in a bad way! I mean... I guess it's good that you couldn't tell I was in the military... so maybe I'm not that much of an oddball! Well, actually... I didn't really want people to know at first that I was in the Air Force, cuz I know that wouldv'e turned some of the more "liberal" patrons on this site away from my art, simply for that fact -- but I got over it soon enough and came to realize that if someone doesn't want to look at my art, simply because I'm in the military (and that's something they don't believe in), I don't care! Heh, heh... I basically assumed that you knew I was in the military -- cuz most of my friends here on DA do. As they say in the old Joe commercials: "Now you know! And knowing, is half the battle..." BTW, I feel you on the whole "friends changing" thing. A lot of my high school friends seemed really different when I came home from tech school -- even after only 9 months!
