Beautiful artwork on the dragon lady, wings, cocoon and all. I've been done like that too. Gotten paid too low for artwork I had to do twice over. Then another piece of artwork the client hasn't paid me either. Frustrating. But you live and learn. At least I got the originals.

Things are going good so far, they started to transfer fee, in parts but it's ok as soon as I get paid for my work.

Does that mean they took the design AND did not pay for it?
If the answer's yes.... it makes me ... angry.... xC this is not what you deserve....
I like the final design, espacially how the wings break out of the back.
Personally I would like to see you drawing a mix between dragonfly and machine. Because I like both and I think you would make an awesome job at this^^

Hi,
It's a bit more complex. The band commissioned cover without talking with their publisher. After a week they accepted my sketches and we moved forward into final look of cover. After next two weeks when I did provide final illustration there were silence for about a month. When I finally manage to contact with band manager I get info that publisher won't pay at all because he has his own graphic designer who will do the job and the band don't have money also to pay for my work.
Hopefully they didn't took the idea and design, if they done that the case would probably end up at court.
Now the cover looks like desktop theme ;]
It was second time when I was doing job for people from my own country and it's probably last one ;]

But, nevertheless, it was a great practise for you, so don't be too upset
I believe that people who are hardworking like you will get rewarded one day.
