Love how the slim trees to the right look photorealistic, even upon close inspection and how Red Riding Hood attracts your attention well enough for your eyes to completely pass up the shadow behind her until you suddenly notice it, making it seem like it appeared as you observed the picture. Don't know if that was intentional, but well done.

Nah, it looks so complex because it have many layers but process is very simple itself. You just have to find your way of doing this.
