I can have spikey quill things almost as big as myself. I can have ears that grow longer in each picture, hey it's a fashion statement after all, right? I can have a tail twice my length, no I never trip over that one, just as I never trip over the quills I drag behind me. I can have an eight bit halo around my head, I can have artificial things all around my body - and it doesn't matter at all. I'm only an idea, there's white around me everywhere, nothing I could get tangled up in walking by, nothing to trip over.I can do whatever I want there - I so want to be there and not want to be there.

I guess it all just doesn't matter really. Makes it even more interesting, doesn't it?

Beautiful work Gekko, I can't help to ask what really brought on putting this great of a peice out on the net, especially with all of the sh*t flying around these days. No you do not have to have a reason but if there is one could you please tell me? well the reason that I post my artwork is that I am trying to get better at what I do and the input of my artwork really does help but I am needing the advanced comments that I am not currently recieving. *sighs* does this have anything to do with all of the art theft that has been occuring? I am not sure, but a deep illustration none the less. marvelous work and I do hope to see more in the future.

Mmm...that's kind of depressing, isn't it? That being a human can just suck so badly sometimes...or perhaps it's an inner creature that keeps trying to get out. Either way, we don't want to be human. We want to be...something else. An animal, an alien...anything that will make us more powerful, smarter, faster. Anything that we want to be, so we can do things we want to do, to escape the idiocy of human life and the masses of hate, greed, and war.
To escape. To be anything but HUMAN.
But then, there's always something you don't want to leave behind. It could be a friend, a lover, a mother. That one little thing you can't stand to be without. So, we stay for now. Maybe that'll change in the future.
Then again, maybe I'm just reading the meaning of this wrong. It's possible. But...that's what *I* think. Of course, I have yet to pick any one creature in particular, so I guess there's still something about humanity that I actually like.
