When I say, “attempt” I badly mean it >.<I seriously hate how this came out. I wanted it to look as real as possible, but everything I tried looked bad. The coloring is ok, but the whole oekaki sketch is horrible

First, her chest area is up too high and I didn’t notice that until like way way later. Her foot is too big. Her dress is so off perspective. The folds are really ugly. The hair came out too poofy…and so on! I think the only part that came out all right at the end were the wings. I finally fixed it right to look like real wings and added sparkles.
the sparkles!!!The background picture was actually a real life picture taken from * lovekitten27 She takes the best pictures ever!!! You just have to visit her DA!!
Well, she gave me permission to use her lovely picture in which I needed to blend other colors to blend in with the faery chick. =^^=;;; The link to the photograph in the background in this picture is [link] just in case you want to see the original. Well, thanks for viewing guys!!

If you want it to look real try so pics from reference. Take something like a picture and try to make it again, also try to take the colors you find in the pictures. Real life colors are not so bright. I still like your pic, i guess i can see why you don't really like it. I think she is pretty, faeries are awesome!!!

Ooh!! Very true on the stuff you mentioned! I normally don't like looking at references....but this pic was done on MSPaint...so I thought that that would be kind of annoying looking back and forth from picture to computer

Lol...The sparkles are just from an "X" shaped brush tool in the options listed for the brushes in Adobe. ^^
