And with the tender flakes of ice
They fall upon my face
They move the nights to day
As all is erased
No dirt amongst the blades of grass
No bark upon the trees
Just sheets of snow here and there
As far as I can see
The cold is in my breath
I can see it in the air
The snow is being caught
By my frozen strands of hair
This is the winter
Where all you see is white
And when the spring is come
It will make it back to bright
