Many things I have written which will never reach your eyes...Yet I feel I need to write them.
Not out of disparity for you to one day see them...
But for solace of mind, that you invade my thoughts...
You take my dreams by a firm hold...
Where I kiss your still warm lips...
On your still gleaming smile.
Your eyes still reassuring that it is a worthy endeavor.
And how I wish I could again feel the softness of your cheek...
Your hand cradling my own...
One day I may have your vision no longer impede my thoughts.
One day I may move past the past...
If I were to ever forget you, though...
How forlorn the thoughts of the past few months have been...
You have been the idol subject of content.
You show color to the dark corners of my mind...
Yet your being is a looming presence...
Something that leaves a coldness behind.
My mind yearns for your existence...
Yet my body can take it no farther than it has.
Will soon your hand be lifted from my mind?
Will I ever be able to forget...
Or will I continue writing words, phrases, stories of yourself?
For now it seems, writing is the only way to express what I feel.
And though you won't know it...
I miss you...
More terribly than I ever could have ever imagined.
