Description
I feel like a lost little childIn a room full of strangers with candy
I can’t escape the paranoia
When it screams my name at night
I stand up but I feel small
As if the strangers are giants
I won’t leave this place
It’s my death trap
Everyone around me
Keeps my head in the corner
To make sure I don’t see the truth
That they are children too
My tears stain the wall
As I hear laughter behind my back
And I wish for more than dreams can bring
Because dreams are not reality
But soon and some day close
I’ll stand up and turn and walk amongst them
And know they are not big
Nor are they strangers but scoundrels
And in the point of room
Where light might cascade your figure
It’ll make the wait in that corner
So worth every miserable second
I will still be a little child
And so may all of us remain that way
But between lost and found
Is where we are known as people
