Description
For the man walked down the streetThe papers clung to him like a fire
A fire living on pain and scorn
No way the man could leave his heart torn
The wind blew dirt into his eyes
And the ground broke uneven to impede his path
His legs were tangled by vines
Telling him to go back
On the wind carried a bird
It perched upon his shoulder
It whispered in his ear
Go back and tell her you love her
The man took another step
The ground opened beneath him
He fell into Hell and couldn't grab hold
He was doomed now to keep on slipping
A hand grabbed his own
A sister, a friend
A simple embrace
I love you too...
