Unto the edge I steppedMany miles from the bottom
Looking to the depths
I saw my Autumn
My summer spent here
High among the clouds
But soon the demons came
Bringing down their doubts
They talked with reason
About the edge
And what it would be like
After the ledge
Into clarity
My mind was thrown
As the words they spoke
Became my own
My toes became curled
Around the shelf
And forward I leaned
And lost myself
My nerves let go
As my body fell free
There was no coming back
...It was fine by me
