Who knows him, not me,
Have you seen him nailed upon the tree,
Or walking across the lake to me,
Or covered in golden robes to be?
"god"
Who knows him, not me,
Can it be he makes you happy,
Makes you sad then he,
Turns your mood to glee?
"god"
A little faith goes a long way,
But would you spare your life today,
For something a dark man says,
Or what a conceited book just may?
"god"
A litle faith goes a long way,
Is it only for this day,
The week aye or nay,
To enter a torturous fray?

Oh faith is such a confused scene,
In where the people,
you or I, may have been,
Trusted in the steeple,
And oh what of knowledge,
A few scribed words,
A writ in a ledge,
Spread amongst the herd,

Oh religion takes the high ground
for it fights a losing battle
It soon will be taken down
and there it shall be dismantled
Yet a spice of life,
And right to being,
Is the choice of knife,
To be stuck in clean,

We all will die, and it depends on the after,
Whether we are simply buried, or sent to a great master,
And this is all I have to say, about this so called "god"
So I fixate no more, on the fixation so broad
