Amazing work. This is one of my absolute favorite things on deviantart. There's a sense of exotic and alien wonder which doesn't mirror anything I know. I love the description too, offers so many interesting ideas.
This vaguely reminds me of Sidney Sime's illustrations for Lord Dunsany's "The Gods of Pegana".
