Description
Another painting of my Elven maiden and her Raven meeting up with their friend the Unicorn in the springtime. This time I have found names for them...Her name is Lostariel (Lost-are-ee-el), her pet Raven is Veryan (Vare-yahn), and the Unicorn's name is Lainathion (Lye-na-thee-on). The names were found online at the Elvish name translator.

Sorry I haven't posted anything new on here in over a week. I've been busy painting my kitchen... This painting is actually going to hang in my kitchen over my table. It matches the decore...my walls are now a sage green. Even the tree matches my Oak cupboards. lol!

Background and elf are entirely of my own design. Reference loosely used for the raven, found in an old book I have.

It's an odd size, as I painted it to fit an old frame I had lying around. 11 1/2 inches by 19 1/4 inches. Painted on 136 lb. Canson Canva-Paper. Watercolors, water color pencils and a little bit of colored pencil and Sharpie paint pen. This is actually the second version, as I absolutely hated the way it was turning out the first time I tried to paint it. So I started over.
