Thank you very much! Sorry for the delay in finishing this. I had a bad reaction to some meds my doctor prescribed and haven't been feeling well. I was covered in hives... All better now though.

Thanks Rhonda! I should be able to finish it soon now that I've gotten rid of the hives that showed up a few days ago. I had a bad reaction to some meds my doctor prescribed... No fun!  All better now though.

Oh, my! That's terrible! Glad you're better now.
I've never had an allergic reaction to any medicine before,
but both my kids broke out in big red splotches from an
antibiotic (the same one) once before when they were little.
Sorry...probably too much info, huh?

Thanks hun. It was probably one of the antibiotics I was allergic to. I was on 3 meds to get rid of H pylori that the doctor found while doing a routine colonoscopy and endoscopy. Apparently 50 percent of people have H pylori and don't know it.  I was supposed to be  on this course of meds for 2 weeks. I lasted about 8 days and, wham! Needless to say I am quite  hesitant to try a new course of meds now to replace these... I think I'll try some natural cures first and see  how that goes. I have to go back to see the doctor in a couple of months so he can check to see if I still have that bacteria in my stomach. If so I guess I'm going to have to try something new.... Boooo!

Hmm...garlic is supposed to cure/kill just about anything.
Maybe you could try that.

This is true. I've actually been making my own salad dressing with fresh garlic and also some garlic bread, which always goes well here. We love garlic bread. Garlic is one of the natural cures that was mentioned for this.
