Description
Here's my interpretation of the moment at which The Little Mermaid rescues her prince.2013. Watercolour, gouache and white ink. A3.

Edit 13/8/14 just got new scans done of my artwork which I am looking to get made up into prints. The prints won't have the watermark on the image, I'll update when the prints are available.

This is the epitome of one of my favorite mermaid couples pose!! Β I love the look of the tail wrapping around him! Β In my ideal version, she'd be caressing the side of his face/head with her webbed hand

Thanks heaps I was really struggling with keeping the highlights so I ended up resorting to white ink, I'm glad I did!
