Hey guys check out this new illustration I did for Saurian. A sneaky acheroraptor is keeping a watchful eye on a mystery dinosaur. Bet you cant guess what it is. It may or may not make a really good desktop background...
Saurian is a new dinosaur game I'm working on. We aim for the most absurd scientific accuracy of any dinosaur project ever made. There are no people in Saurian, just prehistoric critters the way it should be. Also you actually get to play as the dinosaurs, so that's cool.

Out of curiosity, will any Lambeosaurines (such as Parasaurolophus) be present in the game? Considering (semi) recent research involving the function of this group of Hadrosaurs and their hollow nasal crests serving as resinators it would be very interesting to see how Saurian would handle this new information! I imagine that there would be hadrosaurs of some kind in-game, considering they were among the most successful groups of prehistoric herbivores in, well, history. I personally have always imagined they would be rather dully colored compared to most dinosaurs, except for the nasal crests, which would be strikingly, unusually brightly colored (say, an electric blue color), so that when the herd was threatened by, say, a Rex for example, the sheer shock of all of those brightly colored horns and loud resonating howls from the whole herd would be enough to deter or at the least confuse the aggressor! Sorry for such a long comment for a rather short question; I very much admire your work and seeing as I am going into Paleontology after I finish High School, seeing your work in Saurian is both exciting and inspiring! You and the team have my full support and I will be anxiously awaiting the launch of the game!!

Though hadrosaurs will be in the game, perhaps or perhaps not as a playable creature, but the species they have is Edmontosaurus annectens, which is a Hadrosaurid hadrosaur. According to my knowledge, Lambeosaurines were extinct in North America by the time Saurian's world is placed

Based on their Kickstarter information, there may be an additional carnivore and herbivore added along with the current 4 playable species! These Parasaur would surely make for an interesting character!

This is just beautiful, I love how the colors blend so smoothly and it looks so realistic. The feathers are my most favorite for you made them reflect the sun. This picture gives my a calm but suspicious feel, it is great how you can make someone feel the emotions without telling them anything whatsoever. Also I don't know if I am wrong or right but the mystery dinosaur is a pachy- something.
