Description
Another exercise in drawing by hand, this time using a marker instead of a biro. If I keep doing this I may have to buy some proper pens. And a scanner that works. Again, coloured using Gimp.Spotted on Equestria Daily !

I always figured being trained as a Princess would be rigorous and soul crushing. Especially in Woona's case considering in the episode "Luna Eclipsed" Luna admitted to not knowing what FUN was up until that moment.

I always thought she either had memory loss from being trapped on the moon, or the ancient Equestrian vocabulary didn't include 'fun'.

Her comic indicates that she played many games of chess, BY HERSELF.
For 1000 years.

But she was sealed IN the moon...

With a chess set apparently. Point is she was conscious, THE WHOLE TIME.

Again; she could have forgotten a bunch of stuff waiting a thousand years, or the word 'fun' could have been created during her banishment.

That's a GINORMOUS stretch you're making.
I'm quite positive that ponies back in the day had the word "fun".
Its more likely Luna simply never got to have any.

In real life, the word 'fun' is only about 300 years old, give or take a few.

I don't see why it should be too much different.

Well Luna certainly didn't recognize the feeling of fun neither.
She didn't say something like: "Your Princess likes this... ...fun it reminds me of "Snooo Snooo" the ancient word for fun."Β

Aw, so cute. Luna looks so playful and naive, and Celestia looks like she's nervous about something but still happy she's having fun.
