A few days after Luna earns her cutie mark she was crowned princess by her sister, recognising her ascension to the role she was destined for since birth. They'd been looking forward to this day for so long that standing on ceremony wasn't very high on their list of priorities.

I spent so long working on the posing of Celestia's wings in this picture that I almost forgot to include Luna's (relatively simple) wing. Whoops.
