Less than a week and I got the background done! That is progress, yes? For me anyway.Sdjurni with a background. I debated using charcoals on the background, but I kind of like that the shadows on Sdjurni's body are darker than a background. Lots of work. Very sore arm. Print coming soon.
Sdjurni is now a part of the 100 Art Challenge and the theme here is "Stars."
Also, if anyone is interested in a print without the starry background, just let me know.

This is beautiful. I really love the shape of him. The pose is simply amazing, so flowy and interesting, I especially like the twisted neck. The flowing mane is gorgeous too, the shading and details to it are incredible. I really like the shading on the body as well, the muscles all look wonderful and I love the defined bones and tendons in the legs and paws, they are really beautiful. The background is great too, backgrounds on pencil pieces are difficult I find but this one turned out very nice. I really like how you did the stars.
