I get the impression that this is a cathedral (place of worship, contemplation/ holy site) and a nexus (generator, source of power)
Like if monsters invaded New York City and the Statue of Liberty suddenly went mecha on it. Β The idea that it's both symbolic and ideological whilst still being of a "practical" use.

Very cool! It's very beautiful! It has a sort of temple feel with the blue design, but then I mostly think it's just one of the travelways from outside into the inner sanctum of the structure, which feels to be much more massive than what we're seeing - as though there are hundreds of travelways like this, and--- wah I'm babbling. Either way, I love this! It's great!
