I'm so glad this film won. I really like Despicable Me 2, and I do have respect for The Wind Rises (despite taking issue with the major misrepresentation of a real historical figure), but ultimately Frozen was simply the strongest and most gripping animated film of the bunch.
Finally, the Oscars did something right. Almost makes up for Brave absurdly defeating Wreck-It Ralph and The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists (a.k.a. Band of Misfits) and Rise of the Guardians not even being nominated.
Let's hope for some good competition for next year (though The Lego Movie has already set a near-unachievable standard for the other future nominees).
