Kenny had managed to save Ben. The wondered the streets and found a stable place to rest for the moment. Ben held his injected wound. "K-Kenny...I- I'm hurting real bad..." Kenny only looked at the boy. "K-Kenny?" Ben repeated the man's name. Kenny shook his head. "What do you want me to do?" Kenny spoke, irritated. "I-...nothing I guess. Its just...when we do leave here could we try and find medicine or something...?" Kenny sighed. "Yeah. That's if we ever leave here." Ben nodded slowly. Ben tore the sleeve of his jacket off and placed it on his wound. Kenny went and searched the house and found some towels, needles, and thread. "Ben. I'm going to fix you." Ben peeked into the room. "Uh...o-okay..." Ben frowned as he seen what Kenny was holding. Kenny pushed the boy onto the coach and pulled the boy's jacket off of the wound. "Aw!" Ben cried in pain. Kenny only shoved a towel in Ben's mouth. "I know this will hurt and I know you will scream." Kenny looked at the boy. Ben nodded. Kenny began stitching the wound. Ben began screaming in muffles. Kenny only looks at the boy and continues stitching. After he's done stitching he wraps the towels around the wound. Tears were rolling down Ben's face. Kenny yanked the towel out of Ben's mouth. "Its over." Kenny says. Ben nodded in pain. "Y-Yeah I know. It just really really hurt." The boy gritted his teeth as he sits up. Ben continued rambling about the pain. "Ben shut up and stop being a big baby!" Kenny angrily looks at Ben. "But Kenny I'm just saying-" Ben gets interrupted. "No Ben. I said shut up and that means shut up!" Ben only rolls his eyes. "You stupid Ben." Ben finally punches Kenny in the face. Kenny only finds himself in raging anger. Kenny gabs an empty bottle and smashes it on Ben's face, causing the bottle to shatter. Glass flies into Ben's left eye, cutting it deeply. Ben punches Kenny again and again. Kenny finally falls onto the floor and lays there on his back. Ben stood there looking down at the man. Ben then fades back to his normal self. Ben's legs begin to tremble and he falls to his knees. "K-Kenny....I-.....I'm sorry...I d- don't know what-" Ben began to speak but was interrupted. "No...Ben. That was my fault." Kenny sat up straight and looked at the half-blinded boy. "I shouldn't always complain about you...You had all the right to hit me..." Ben looks down to his bleeding fist. "I-....I'm still sorry." Kenny got up and Ben looked up at him. "Let me look at your eye." Ben tried to open his cut eye but couldn't. "Aw! I can't....It hurts really bad." Tears began to form in the boy's eye. Kenny grabbed Ben by the chin and forced the boy's eye open. "Kenny! That hurts! Stop!" Kenny pulled the glass from Ben's eye only to have a lot of blood run down the boy's cheek. Ben finally pulled away from Kenny. "God! That hurt." Ben turned away from Kenny. "Why d-did you d-do that...?" The boy cried. "It would have only gotten worse if you left the glass in it." Kenny placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Look at me." Ben turned around and looked at Kenny. Kenny placed a small bandage over Ben's bleeding eye. "Hold that there." Ben placed his hand over the bandage. Kenny walked into a different room and came out with tape. Kenny taped the bandage onto the boy's face. "You look terrible." Kenny mumbled and grabbed the needle he had previously used on Ben stomach wound. "You have a really deep cut on your face." Kenny grabbed Ben's mouth and stitched the boy's face. Tears fell down Ben's face. "Y-you have a pretty bad cut on your face also..." Ben places his hand on Kenny cut face. Kenny nods and walks into another room. Kenny stood in front of a mirror and stitched his face. Ben walked into the room once Kenny was done. "I- I found these in a drawer." Ben holds out five bullets and hands them to Kenny. Kenny takes them and load his gun. "Thanks." Kenny nods. "The walkers finally left. W-we should go." Ben stuttered. Kenny nods and begins walking out the door slowly. Ben and Kenny had walked for a while. They found themselves on an abandoned road in the woods. "K-Kenny...Where...are we going?" Ben question. Kenny looked over to the boy. "Ben I-....I really don't know....anywhere safe I guess..." Kenny looked forward again. Ben nodded and looked around. "Kenny....I'm sorry...." Kenny looked at Ben in confusion. "What are you apologizing for now?" Kenny stared at Ben. "I....I'm sorry you got left with me....Back there in the ally....you should have left with Lee and the group..." Ben lowered his head in shame. "Why do you say that?" Kenny asked. "I'm useless...remember." Ben shrugged and crossed his arms. "Ben...A lot of what I said about you...wasn't true...." Ben looked over at the man. "Well....Even if it wasn't true....it still must suck being stuck with me..." Kenny shook his head. "Ben.... I'm just glad I'm not left alone... in a world like this, being alone is the last thing I want to happen to me...I'm actually kinda' glad you're here....." Kenny looked over at Ben. Ben faintly smiles. "T-Thanks...I...I don't like being alone either." Tears began to form in Kenny's eye but he shook them away and continued to walk. Ben had seen the tears in Kenny's eyes and knew that Kenny did care. "Kenny?" Ben got the man's attention. "What is it?" Kenny mumbled. Ben looked Kenny in the eyes and said it....and meant it. "Thanks for staying with me."
