Was intending for this to be my Christmas contribution this year, but a bout of the flu, a busted scanner, and a shifting work schedule caused December to kind of slip away from me.

Dr. Eggman, nefarious evil genius, had hit upon a great plan to secretly infiltrate the homes of the citizens of Hedgehog Village by disguising himself as Santa and passing out free toys to villagers who came to see him. Naturally the little elf toys were actually robots who would proceed to rob their owners' homes on Christmas Eve, netting the not-so-good Doctor all of the island's presents for himself. It had been going swimmingly until a certain blue rodent and his obnoxious orange friend had appeared at the head of the line, clearly having recognized their nemesis despite his brilliant disguise. Or so Eggman had thought.

As had, it happened, Sonic the Hedgehog. Hence why he'd been rather surprised when his best friend Tails had, rather than making some loquacious challenge to the villainous doctor, instead hopped up on the man's lap and produced from seeming nowhere a massive list that had reached all the way down to the floor and then some.

That had been forty minutes ago, and the fox showed no signs of stopping, despite the rather annoyed grumbling coming from the ever increasing line of villagers standing outside the barrier rope.

"Now, I don't really need the flux capacitor to come assembled, unless you feel that would save space, so I did include some design suggestions that should make it easier for your helpers to do so as you can see here," the kid genius babbled pointing to the indicated schematic present on his list.

"Ah... yes... well... you see... I'm not sure how possible it is for my elves to get their hands on uranium," the disguised Doctor stammered out, casting Sonic a confused look. For his part the hedgehog could only shrug his shoulders, clearly flummoxed himself on how to resolve this little problem without potentially traumatizing his little brother.

"Oh I can give you a sensor to find some uranium if you need it," Tails responded. "And if transportation is a problem, I do have some ideas for that as well, which may also help to do your run faster. How married are you to reindeer-facilitated flight?"
