Somehow, some way, I've wound up with a large number of sketches that I need to color while trying to get used to my new tablet and pen. This is just one. An idea i had several months ago.So anyway, if you can't tell, the characters featured are Tails and his evil doppleganger Miles. The title comes from the idea that neither fox is particularly proud of the other's existence. Tails sees Miles as a somewhat frightening caricature of how bad he could have been, while Miles sees Tails as a pathetic shadow of himself. The truth is they may be closer then either one would like to admit (I crave more Miles vs Tails stories).
Fun Fact: the mirror they're both looking into is an actual mirror hanging in my room. Found it in a garage sale some years ago and have been itching to do something cool with it.

Very symbolic and fun to look at. And your mirror is osm. Though I would like to see some shinestreaks or something to indicate the glass surface.

Shinestreaks? I'm still trying to learn how to do effects and stuff. Still haven't figured out reflections and Metal. Any advice on how to do them, or is it just something that requires practice? More than likely once I learn how to do them I'll re-edit this picture to show off. Honestly that's why the mirror potions are light blue. Thanks for the comment by the way.

Just some simple, straight, diagonal lines here and there until you find another method that works, like gradients or lowered opacities.
