DailyDeviation!wow, that was unexpected, a few people mentioned the idea but I didn't expect it to happen
I'm really pleased and wanna say thanks to everyone whos downloading it, and cheers to mrrst for featuring it
Sublimination for Xion media player
I've been working on this one for ages now, I had the idea a few months ago and havn't had much time to work on it but I sat down today and got it all setup for xion and it works great.
The idea behind the skin was to have it compact, look good have a main feature (the orb) but at the same time be highly interactive, I included lots of animations, and some cool sliders to give a nice feel.
Visualiser settings
This player has a visualiser built into the skin, I think it looks cool but you have to set it up right
First enable the visualiser plug-in in xion settings, click options and disable "Randomly change oscilloscope Colour" (as the colour has been set by me in the skin) and then enable "Motion Blue" and "Zoomer" and set the blue slider to the minimum.
Notes
There is no stop button on this skin, personally I find them useless so I didn't include one, instead just use the pause button for play and pause.
How to install
To install the skin, drag the .zip file onto xion and to have it listed in the skins menu drop the zip file into your (program files>r2studios>xion>interfaces), or download it in .xsf form at xions official website [link]

I agree man. No need for play button in Xion. Stop button is excludable as well.

Thanks, Umm if you want to use it thats cool, but you'll need to download xion first then download the skin from here and install it. Just check out the instructions under the description

oh yes, ^mrrste was so right to feature this.
i love how you've managed to include soooo many details without the outcome being cluttered at all.
the gradients, glows and shades are perfectly executed and the color-combo of black, silver and blue makes it even more stunning.

nice ..... can you try create skin for "mediamonkey player" . This is one of best players , and skining is easy , but peoples can't create nice skins or they don't remember about skin for "micro player" in vertical ( when you have start menu on right side)

what was the inspiration for this? it looks like a home theatre type of projector, which is nice... i think its the shape breaking thing (round to square) that really gave it a new dimension...
if i owned Xion, i'd definately make this the default skin.... very good job

inspiration, umm I was on holiday in Cornwall and was just drawing up loads of ideas to kill time because it was raining, this just came about

ok, so now you know that accidents and boredom seem to go well with one another
btw, you have great sense of design, not many can pull this off even if they hand draw everthing dozens of times before actual production..
can i borrow you for a winamp skin project of my own? i can send ya the PSD? youre probably too busy now, but i'd really like to finish this hell of a project because its worth finishing, if you'd like a preview i'd be glad to give one
