More tutorials! More more more! This one is very basic, but really, the toughest part of drawing hands is getting the basics! So not only does this show you a basic, cartoon-ish style hand (i.e. no nails/ridges), it also shows you my beginning stages of hand-drawing.

Hopefully in the future I will do a tutorial of hand positions to give you more variety, for now... let's draw basic hands!

A Small Note On Hands
Everyone hates drawing hands at first. I went through a phase where everyone I drew had their hands behind their back or in their pockets! But learning to draw hands can really set you free. Now, the hand is one of my favorite parts of the human body! There is such a variety of ways hands can be positioned, and they contribute so much to conveying a person's activity, attitude, personality, and mood. Hopefully with some practice you can learn to love hands as much as I do!
