How would you suggest one go about adding a tail, ears and changing the face to be a bit more "fox-like"? I'm hoping to soon make a plush of my loves fox form after I finish the plush I'm currently making for him.
I think I may also do something like this for a project for my US history class. I may try to get it to look like Washington or some kind of Civil War looking guy which would be very interesting to make clothes for >.<

For the tail, just cut out two equal tail-shapes, sew together, stuff lightly and sew in there the seam is.
For the ears, cut out ear shapes and swe them into the seams of the head,
For the face, look at how a fox's face is in profile view and draw the face shape out in the same shape, but make sure you keep it the same height as the back-of-the-head pattern

I don't tend to use yarn for dolls like this, I use felt just by layering it up.
