Description
Okay, here's the pattern for armless Homestuck characters. Download to view full size and print it out on normal printer paper. The seam allowance is a little bit less than 1/8" on most pieces. It's a little bit larger on the head because I forgot to make it smaller, but it doesn't really matter. Just eyeball it.
I use doe suede for the fabric, but you can use whatever you want. Doe suede is best because it's thin and doesn't fray.
I print the faces out on iron-on printer fabric after drawing them in Photoshop. The symbols on their shirts can be done using this method as well.
You can cut two more head pieces out of the character's hair color and sew them together to fit over the back of the head. Just cut off the pointy ends on the bottom before sewing. Then felt is best for the rest of the hair. Hot glue it on, but make sure to do it neatly.
The horns for trolls can be done with either felt or clay.
You can see a Karkat I made with this pattern here: [link] and if you have any questions or problems, ask!
Also, please don't sell things you make using this pattern. Thanks!
edit: I've changed the body pattern so it's more accurate. The clothes and hair patterns I used for Gamzee, Jade, Karkat, and Kanaya are in my scraps, here: [link]
The tutorial for Gamzee will hopefully be uploaded tomorrow.

I was wondering, instead of using iron on printer fabric, would iron on transfers work just as well?

hmm they look kind of filmy which is why i don't use them, but it's up to you! try it on a scrap piece just to see how it turns out

When you say "It's a little bit larger on the head because I forgot to make it smaller, but it doesn't really matter. Just eyeball it." What does eyeball mean? And how do you eyeball it?

haha i just mean make the seam a little bit bigger and that you don't have to measure it precisely? eyeballing it is just a silly phrase

Hot glue. They're small/light enough that hot glue is enough to keep them on.

Nice pattern! Thanks!
How big is the doll, if I may ask? Or shall I say, how big does this make? And would you mind if I modified it/ added some arms? Its so hard to find a good, plush pattern. I really like how yours came out. I know some people don't like their patterns being revised, course it's only for personal use. Most of the patterns are for like 7 inch dolls. They are great patterns, but im looking for something about 12-20 inches, something big to snuggle.
I'm horrible at modifying/ using patterns too which is why I make my own. But sometimes its great to have guide lines.
Thanks very much for the pattern too!

Haha of course I don't mind! I don't feel like this pattern would work very well as a traditional plush pattern, though. For one thing, the head is secured on the body in a really odd way. It is about 7 inches, too. But you can always blow up the pattern in Photoshop to make it larger, and that goes for other patterns you find, too. Have you tried and for patterns? :icon-babylondonstar: has a more traditional pattern with arms that you could make larger.

Yeah. I have tried blowing up some of the patterns, It usually doesn't work for me. :/
And yes, I actually have both clubs on my watch list.
