Love the idea of making one of these myself, but what about using orange craft feathers for the ruff and wings? Like glue them around the neck and on the wings, or would that be too much?

you could totally try it! they're really fast to make, so maybe make two to see which you like better, or just test it out on a spare piece of fabric.

its more just where all the pieces go i pretty much get everything else and yeah im a dork sometimes ill try first and after 200000 tries if i still dont get it ill wig out, throw it across the room, go to get it, step on the needle, scream in blood curling pain, clean the blood from the needle and figure it out as im cleaning the blood off the floor im sure xD lol it hasnt happened but i always imagine it happening that way lol

awwwww that sounds painful. i've only stepped on a needle once and it was terrible gosh be careful!
the biggest piece is the bangs; cut the triangle out and position it in top of the front of the head with the triangle closed. the one that says cut 2 is the sideburn, put them on the sides of the face under the bangs. the piece above the bangs goes on top of the head, right on the seam, and the last piece goes right beside that one, overlapping a bit. Okai i will try to make him when I get the yellow orange fuzzy clothe for his feathers cuz imuna experiment with sprites domt worry ill credit for davesprite and jadesprite (considering ill use your hair templates as well) B) lol thanks for the help with placement if u want as im making him i can take progress pics and make a tutorial for u (if i can make him right lol) and also do u recomend a certain stitch?....

ah if you did that i'm sure people would find it useful!! i definitely support that haha. hmmm i use the backstitch when i'm hand-sewing something and i make sure it's tight, too, because that way the stitches don't show through when you stuff!
