Description
I keep meaning to draw some less-bad Silverwing arts but I failed at it until now. SO HERE'S some headshots of Shade, Marina, and Goth!
I'm feeling pretty comfortable with digital now. Gonna say this is during Sunwing-ish because I didn't want to draw Marina's band. I really liked doing the frosted/white fur!

All the bats is the Silverwing books are real bats with the exception of Griffin (as far as I know).

Yep! Griffin is a hybrid. I'm curios to know if the mix could exist in real life!

It could be possible, from some research I found out that both Brightwing and Silverwing bats have an average of 8-11 inches in wing span, have the same diet, and similar habitats. Silverwing bats haven't been studied as much though, for some reason, there hasn't been many that were caught. Of those caught, most, I think, are males.

I based one of my OCs off of Goth, he even has the same name and species. After a while, though, I felt I needed him to be more original, so I gave him this epic tuft with hair dye and a quite different personality. Goth: Who the fudge is this? He's ugly. Me: That's you, Goth. Or at least who I based you off of. Goth: He's not nearly as good-looking as me! How could I possibly resemble him? Me: Actually you kinda do.
But anyways. I love this. Awesome job on the characters, they all look so hug-able!

Bat faces are really tough to make cartoony and realistic enough to be identifiable (I remember screaming a little while drawing these the first time! Lol). Are you reading Firewing now? I can't decide which one is my fave

I'm around the end of sunwing but I haven't got a chance to finish it yet, and I'm waiting to revive firewing in the mail.
But so far they are all totally awesome, I love the tv series also. ^_^

The animated series versions I've seen make me cringe, they're so horrible. This is very refreshing.
