Description
In Midrealm, larger types of golems are often made of some kind of stone, because it's more cost-effective, and they don't require small intricate parts like the
metal ones. Also, they are not mass produced like their smaller counterparts.
In armies, stone golems serve as intimidation, mobile battering rams, infantry support or siege engines.
In time of peace, they are silent guardians and not half bad for decoration either!
As their size go up, so do they lose mobility, and considering that they're made out of solid
stone spieces, they can be very heavy, which can be quite a drawback too.
Therefore the largest of golems are only activated in dire need.
The Monolith-Pattern's (as well as any other types of stone golems') design is quite loose.
Only the body pieces' general shape is given, the decoration and styling is up to the golem crafters,
especially the head, chest and shoulder pieces.
It has every joint to move properly except for the lower arms, because they don't need them.
The fist pieces are often replaced with crushing weapons, like large pick and hammer heads.

These fellas look like they can do some serious damage! Really like this one's design. Gets across how solid this thing is.
I bet these guys would look awesome to see in action!

Indeed, not the most pleasant thing to be pancaked by!
Heck, getting pancaked is not pleasant by any means.
But especially not by these guys. Or the larger ones.
But that's a different story, that's not getting pancaked,
that's getting sheet of papered.
Aaand that's more than you wanted to know!
I'm sure I'll draw them again sometime!

Ooh, very nice right here! Bet the bigger monoliths are an absolute pain to take down.
