I have all the time in the world right now to draw and write--so I'm taking adavantage of it big time.I haven't drawn andy anthro in a while---and I haven't tried to do any mechanical stuff--so I put the two together this time!
This pic started out as one of my characters from my story...but it turn into something completely different! Enjoy the half assed background-ness!
Inked with a felt pen, and colored with photoshop7 with a mouse

There's a real mixture of textures and substance in this one. Get the feeling of antiquity because of all the decay...broken bones...ribs showing...ripped torn shredded cloth.....All of which are truly masterfully shaded. There is subtilty also, because it's not a "gore" piece...The background is such a wonderful mix of brown/grey/peach/ ... Very interesting brush work...Totally awesome work!!!

Ee! I agree withthe comment of you getting better each time you post O:. Its so much fun to watch as artists progress to ubar levels of .. art...istry...ness ( o_o...? ) So yeah. Keep up the amazing artwork.
The picture sort of reminds me of Battle Angel Alita... but then.. she doesn't really have bones O-o;
Anyhow!
I really like the added glow on the eyes and all of the minute details... So pretty and dark. ^_^
