what i find really bizzare about this is it looks like a really large scale structure but the sharp cuts between the bluryness and focused parts (like you mentioned) make it seem like it should be tiny...
how bizzare. i dont know if thats what you were after but you certainly tripped me out because i thought it was a photo until i just got confused

Actually forgot to set the full size view to the original 1280x800 size.
You can kinda see how the depth of view plugin leaves kinda sharp cuts between blurynesses. Makes me wonder if I could use multiple instances of the plugin to get a smoother transition... hmm...
