All she had wanted to do was show off her coloured fire... How had it gone this wrong?
“Oh flick.” She mumbled, staring in disbelief as the fire quickly engulfed her hand the moment it had gained its green tint. Sure she was aiming for big and sure she had a lot of practice but boy did that burn! Out of pure self-preservation instinct her glands quickly worked to snuff the flame out before it could do any major damage but the tiny burn that remained really stung. Don’t cry. Play it off. Be cool!
