Prompt: Packing Up - Reef

Word travels fast in Wynsiph and it being Reef’s day off, he had plenty of time on his hands. Though, that time would not be spent relaxing on his favourite hill, as he had hoped. No, instead he was caught off guard midway though his journey there. Children trapped and in danger. A long hike through the forest to reach them. As nervous as the story made him, it didn’t feel right to idly sit by... he wasn’t the strongest or bravest or even really the most fit for the job but he knew how to heal wounds and comfort children. Oh! And bake! Such a long trip definitely needed a substantial amount of snacks and oats seemed to be the best choice for the job!

In fact, he was just preparing to get the fifth and final tray of them off of the fire when
”Reef, that is an absurd amount of flapjacks. What is going on here?”
Velvet was home early.
