Toujours en lien avec les évènements tragiques de cette date. Mais dessin plus personnel cette fois-ci. Je suis effondrée. Et révoltée à la fois. Je n'abandonnerai pas les "armes".Comme le disait Ridan dans sa chanson "Demain" : "J'aurais aimé t'offrir [...] une liberté aussi parfaite que celle que j'ai sur ce papier".
Another drawing about woesome events of that day, but this sketch is more "personally". I'm both in deep grief and revolted. I'll won't give up.
As said Ridan in his song "Demain" (Tomorrow) : "I wish to offer you [...] a freedom as perfect as the one I have on this paper leaf".

To be really honest, what happened for couple of days ago is really horrible thing. But as I have seen it, people now are blaming the entire Religion for something three motherfucking horrible monsters made.
In Islam, there is freedom of speech, freedom of expressing, as long as you don't kill another person for their thoughts and now that these monsters did this, they have made everything worse for islamic people and gave another reason for the islamphobic people to kick out every islamic immigrants from Europe.
I really think that these monsters who did this deserved to die. These artists just made fun of everything, they didn't kill anybody, they just made COMEDY! THEY DIDN'T MEAN HATE OR ANYTHING (I hope).
And also to think that these monsters are fucking born in FRANCE. Really WTF?!
Terrorists are the stupidest most dangerous people that should deserve to die

I totally agree with you. Here in France, people begins to divide, some about racism, political or religion. It's very sad. Some others are thinking that the newspaper was too offensive refuse to follow "je suis Charlie" (but it's their right, i don't blame them).

Just few words about what all people are gone crazy for those days.
First of all I condemn too the act of murder and violence, but there must have been a lesson to learn after almost the same incident happened in Denmark few years ago, and specially that Charlie had recieved many threatening letters to stop drawing offensive religious caricatures.
Second, it's gone too far with the religious ass wiping, it's not fine to go too far making fun of someone's religion, race or sexual orientation, they've gone too far offending christians too and homosexuals, you can see here ( scontent-a-fra.xx.fbcdn.net/&#… )
And last of all, they knew they have a large numbers of Muslim immigrants, whom they theirselves accepted, and surprisingly they knew that some of them have terrorist background, like one of the 2 terrorist who killed them, he was sentenced for acts of terror few years ago and was on their black lists SO WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING OFFENSIVE TO A BUNCH OF DANGEROUS PEOPLE you already know your country holds them free!
Conclusion, what one makes with his own hands it's called handmade!

I hope that you're not saying that the deaths of those last days were deserved. This newspaper makes fun with everything, without distinction (maybe they go far, but they never incite hatred), it's named "freedom of expression", it's a fundamental right in France.
I agree with you about the fact that ones of the assassins were already known by police, and I'm shocked to know that these killings could have been avoided. But we must distinguish between those murderers and all religious or ethnic affiliations.
I fear now that these events cause waves of racist thoughts and hope this will be avoided.
I hope you will understand that this drawing only express my despair at the loss of great cartoonists and what they represented, it calls for no political statement.

Aujourd'hui, quelque chose est arrivé, quelque chose qui nous montrent le mauvais côté de la nature humaine. Aujourd'hui, le monde est en deuil de la mort de douze personnes qui essayaient juste d'exprimer, d'une manière satirique, la vérité sur l'extrémisme. Aujourd'hui, les canons ont gagné sur crayon. Mais, peut-être les méchants ont gagné la bataille, mais pas la guerre. Aujourd'hui, le monde a rejoint le peuple de France dans leur deuil.
