These are my Various Attempts to depict the many glorious creations of Emily Rodda in her book series 'Deltora Quest.'

I struggled to get the right balance of cute, elegant, and dumb-looking. I'm still not sure if I got it. Anyway, this creature is a mix-and-match of real life animals. Body anc neck of a Llama, the back legs of an Antelope, the front leg of a horse, the elongated head of a hare, with purely fictional feet. The front leg is way thicker than the back ones, because it has to carry twice the weight.
