These are my Various Attempts to depict the many glorious creations of Emily Rodda in her book series 'Deltora Quest.'I always figured Grey Guards should be cool looking, but not too over-designed since they literally come from a factory. Gotta have that assembly-line efficiency. His sword is not pretty, just to make it a little more cruel looking, as if blisters weren't nasty weapons on their own.

Of course! Making the Grey Guards face unseen, with a helmet that hides their faces while allowing them to see, dehumanizing them even more! Brilliant! Plus, if we think about The Forests of Silence book, it would make Lief and Barda feel while confronting Gorl like attacking a sort of golden super-Grey Guard and it feels so funny
